Michael J. Dotson (DBA, Mississippi State University) is Professor of Marketing at Appalachian State University. His publications have appeared in the Journal of Marketing Research, Journal of Advertising, Journal of Business Research, Journal of Consumer Marketing, Transportation Journal, Journal of Marketing Communication and others.

He has also presented papers at a number of professional conferences. Dr. Dotson is a member of the American Marketing Association and the Society for Marketing Advances. Dr. Dotson also raises and Shows Tibetan Mastiffs.
