Stephen W. Clopton is Professor of Marketing at the John A. Walker College of Business. He holds a Ph.D. in business administration from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and MBA and BSBA degrees from Virginia Tech.

His research has appeared in such publications as Journal of Marketing Research, Journal of the Academy of Marketing Science, Journal of Marketing Education, Decision Sciences, Journal of Purchasing and Materials Management, Marketing Management Journal, Journal of Professional Services Marketing, Tourism Economics, Proceedings of the American Marketing Association, and other conference proceedings.

Dr. Clopton is a member of the Editorial Review Board of Journal of Marketing Education and has served as a reviewer for Journal of Marketing Research, Journal of Business Research, Journal of Personal Selling & Sales Management, Journal of the Academy of Marketing Science, and many national and regional conference proceedings.
