Marketing students take second prize in Marketing Madness competition

Appalachian State University students accepted the challenge from the American Marketing Association (AMA) to participate in Direct Effect Marketing Madness during March 2023.

Collegiate student teams from across the country joined the event, which challenged students to score the most micro-credential course completions during a month.

App State came away with second place, earning a $2,000 cash prize for their efforts. The funds will support the App State chapter of AMA.

The students, AMA majors and digital marketing majors at App State, were mentored by Dr. Lubna Nafees.
