Charles "Charlie" Ciaramita is an adjunct lecturer in the Department of Marketing at Appalachian State University, where he teaches Principles of Marketing and Business to Business Marketing Management.  Prior to joining the faculty in the Walker College of Business, Mr. Ciaramita navigated a successful career in the food industry in a range of positions including Division G.M., director of major distributor accounts, director of marketing, regional sales manager, and director of corporate strategic planning and acquisitions. He has been awarded two US patents, which are licensed to the world's largest privately-held food industry scale manufacturer. He is currently seeking three additional patents for US protection. Mr. Ciaramita earned his bachelor's in marketing and an MBA with concentrations in marketing and finance from Creighton University.
