Stephanie J. Lawson, Ph.D. is currently an Associate Professor of Marketing at Appalachian State University. Formerly, she served as Associate Dean, Graduate Programs and Accreditation and Associate Professor of Marketing at Winthrop University. She earned her B.A. in Communication, MBA and Ph.D. from Florida State University. Her research interests include collaborative consumption, access-based services, and Native American issues in marketing. Her research has appeared in the Journal of Business Research, Journal of the Academy of Marketing Science, and Marketing Letters among others. She has ten years of professional experience in marketing management and research in the healthcare, transportation, and retail industries. Stephanie was awarded the 2021 LaRoche Graduate Faculty Award and 2019 Outstanding Junior Faculty Award from Winthrop University. She was also a 2010 AMA Sheth Foundation Doctoral Consortium Fellow and awarded the 2013 Suffolk University Outstanding School of Business Faculty Award, 2019 Winthrop CBA Service Award and 2015 Winthrop CBA Research Award. She has presented her research at AMA, ACR, SMA, Frontiers, and the Southeast Marketing Symposium. Stephanie lives in Charlotte, NC with her husband and two daughters
