David Berger
David Berger is a member of our Digital Marketing Advisory Board, and has been guest lecturing in the Digital Marketing Program since 2018.
David is currently a Senior Director of Enterprise Analytics for TIAA, Over the course of a 30 year career he’s had experience as a data driven marketer and analyst across a wide spectrum of marketing disciplines and industries. David was an early adopter of digital marketing, leading Hearst Magazines digital marketing initiatives from 1996-2005 . In 2018 he was named an Adobe Analytics Rock Star, and in 2020 he was named one of TIAA’s Inclusive Leaders of the Year.
David lives in Charlotte with his wife and son, an Appalachian State graduate of the Walker School of Business. In his spare time, he’s an avid mentor, working with graduate students and early career professionals from India. He also enjoys baseball and runs an adult softball league for the Jewish Community Center of Charlotte.
